Brace yourself: Game of Thrones Snapchat Filter is here

As "Game of Thrones" Season Seven premieres on July 16th, HBO surprised the show's fans with a new exclusive Night King-themed Snapchat filter. The new Game of Thrones Snapchat filter was announced through the "Game of Thrones" newsletter, Whispers of Westeros, and we have the Snapcode for you to unlock it.  

Let's face it: a Game of Thrones selfie

Take a selfie photo or video with the Game of Thrones Snapchat lens, and you notice how your eyes turn ice cold blue and snow covers everything around you.

Let it snow! And kill the White Walker

Take a video using Snapchat's Game of Thrones World Lens and see the White Walker appearing in the snap. Tap and drag a dragonglass dagger to "throw" the weapon at the White Walker to kill it.

To unlock the filter, click here or scan the Snapcode below in your Snapchat app.

You will then be shown a new window where you can tap an unlock the filter for 1 hour.

Snap to unlock is one of Snapchat's ad solutions. It's a great Snapchat tool that creates hidden content that can be unlocked by Snapchat users by scanning a Snapcode in the Snapchat app. Many companies including McDonalds and Air New Zealand used the feature to run their campaigns.
