In the world where Facebook's and Instagram's product roadmap is based on the roll-out of Snapchat most popular features, for a change, Snapchat has launched something that Instagram added to its platform first: Snapchat GIFs!

Powered by Giphy, Snapchat GIF stickers bring "the greatest thing ever invented on social media" (Techcrunch) to Snapchat Stories. To add a GIF to s Snap, one needs to tap the Sticker icon in the top right corner of the creator screen in Snapchat, and the Sticker Picker will load, featuring most popular GIFs alongside other animated and still stickers.
This is not the only new update that the company is bringing to the app. Users can expect to see tabs on the Friends and the Discover screens to help them navigate easily. This move demonstrates that the company is listening to user feedback and is responding to the recent criticism of the app redesign.
